Your Planner On the Go: Belle De Jour Petit Planner 2017

25 December

I have been a loyal Belle De Jour fan since 2014. As I have always said, the love for planners started when I got a Belle De Jour Power Planner. It was given as a gift. I used the same planner brand until this year, 2016. This 2017, since I already have a Kikki.K personal sized planner, I opted to try something new and got the small planner BDJ offers.

So what do we have now? With the size of 4.17 x 5.51, the BDJ Petit Planner is definitely a must have for an on the go woman. It is compact, not too big and not heavy to bring.

Colorful and convenient, the 2017 Petit Planner is a follow-up to last year’s popular pint-sized version of the BDJ Power Planner.

BDJ Petit Planner: Overcome the Waves

Every year, BDJ releases themed planners, this 2017, the theme is "Overcome the Waves." It reminds us, Bellas that we can do everything as long as we trust our own selves. We can even be on top and excel!

The 11th Edition of the Belle de Jour (BDJ) Power Planner continues its mission to empower and inspire today’s renaissance women so they can achieve their goals, their dreams, and make a difference in their community, all in great style.
BDJ Petit comes in teal color which is very refreshing to the eyes. Teal is BDJ's power color this year! It is also covered in a zippered pocket that can be used on keeping receipts, cards and etc.

What will never be forgotten for a BDJ planner is how it plays with colors. Even boxes to be written on are in different colors. Look at the My Big Ideas page! This is where you put any of the ideas that pop out from your mind. Who wouldn't be inspired by just looking at it?

My Big Ideas

Every planner has a monthly page. This is being used as an overview of upcoming events, deadlines, bills due, travel, and holidays. In short, here, you can summarize all the tasks that need to be completed. The monthly page of Petit Planner also comes with a corner which you can write on your priorities.
Monthly Page
Surprisingly, I find the Petit Planner's Weekly Pages' boxes easier to write on. It is in horizontal layout (BDJ Power Planner has vertical) The rectangular boxes are big and has ample space to put your plans on. This is also color coded per month.
Weekly Page
There are a lot of Notes pages on the planner where you can jot down, draw, list and even doodle. Each pages is also color coded.
The petit planner doesn't come with a lifestyle card and the booklet with discount coupons from BDJ's brand partners. Nevertheless, this planner still not to underestimate. It is effective for women who doesn't want to bring a lot. It is even perfect for students! The BDJ Petit Planner is also budget friendly as it only costs P320.00 and is available on National Book Store and Fully Booked.
